Well, the two shows I was most looking forward to are here and at the top of my list. Fargo is the clear best show on TV, it's the only Drama I'm planning on watching for the foreseeable future. I don't have a great feel for what's on the horizon though; most of my favorite TV podcasts have been dissolved. Red Oaks didn't disappoint and took about 4 days to get through, which for me was savoring it.
The other sitcoms on the list are about what I expect from them. Blackish is really made a decent jump--it's just so sharply written and the kids are phenomenal. It's the new Cosby Show, now that that other Cosby show has become problematic. You're the Worst has been good, but not as strong as last year, they just aired though what was probably the best episode of the series. Nathan For You has managed to stay strong in it's third season and is one of the few shows(maybe I'm exaggerating) that surprises me and makes me actually laugh out loud. Last Man on Earth I've returned to after bailing on it last season, good so far, but we'll see.
South Park, I should mention, is having one of it's best overall seasons in a while. It's a show that I've watched every episode of since it started. It's obviously had some great years, but recently I haven't really expected much of it--extremely topical episodes with maybe one standout per season. This year's been really consistent, and I could be forgetting, but it feels more thematically unified than ever before.
TruTV has shows I watch on it now, so that's something. Adam Ruins everything was something I really liked as a 5 minute internet video, and it's transitioned well into a full fledged TV show, but it's not essential viewing for me. You think Billy Eichner accosting strangers in New York can only stay fresh and interesting for so long, and then you hear lines like: "I'll give you 10 million dollars if you can tell me who Taylor Schilling is" and you realize what a fool you were.
The shows at the bottom of my list are still going unwatched. Since my last post I've watched one episode of Masters of Sex. It was good. I think I've finally let go of Comedy Bang Bang after about 3 years of very mildly entertaining me. It seems like they produce 80 episodes a year now. I might still check in if I see an A on the AV club or something.

It's fall, which I remember being a exciting time for new TV shows, but it's been a dismal offering this year and maybe that's part of a trend. I don't know if there's an overall lack of quality or if networks are just holding off the good stuff until mid-season. The Grinder and Grandfathered had pleasant pilots. The Muppets has been okay, but kind of disappointing after what I thought was a stellar preview over the summer.
I'm seeing in my list mostly sitcoms, and the few dramas that I do watch have slipped to the bottom of because I can't bring myself to watch them. It's not entirely my tastes. If there were truly great drama's I'd rush to watch them and I imagine that will be the case once Fargo comes back. Master's of Sex hasn't dipped in quality a ton, I think I'll continue to enjoy it quite a bit, I'm just not into it at the moment. I have managed to watch one episode of OitNB since I last mentioned it. The 100 has been serviceable laundry folding TV. I may never get to survivor's remorse. Besides Fargo, the only thing on the horizon that I'm looking forward to is Red Oaks, starting next week on Amazon. I saw the pilot almost a year ago, and have been excited for it ever since.

So things have stayed fairly the same at the top. Mr. Robot is making a strong case for no. 1 as it heads into tonight's finale, but Rick and Morty, even after what I thought was their worst episode(still decent), is still the funniest, most inventive show on TV. I'm still only 3 episodes into OitNB. The fact that it's been so good in the past, has kept it on my list and away from the very bottom, but man I have no desire to watch it.
I added a few new shows (in bold). They are, with the exception of the wonderful Documentary Now!, unimpressive thus far. Survivor's Remorse and The 100 I hear get better, so I'm going to give them some time. Dark Matter, I picked up because I have a soft spot for easy Canadian produced genre shows, but this really isn't doing it for me.
Speaking of not doing it for me, why? why? am I still watching Why? with Hannibal Burress? I love Hannibal, and he can't help but be funny and charming a couple times an episode, but it just doesn't work as show. It turns out his laid back attitude doesn't translate into a well produced weekly variety show. Only one more left, so I might as well go down with the ship.

What this is
I am an unrepentant television addict, this is a ranking of the shows I'm currently watching. I've been doing this for over a year and I've decided to put it online, in the hopes that it will be my first step towards writing in depth about the thing I love most. But maybe that won't happen and this will forever be just a list of TV shows that I watch. I'm not opposed to that.
So a couple rules. The list is only for non-continuous shows. Something like Last Week Tonight with John Oliver would probably be at the top or near the top of every list. Also, the dates might not be exact, a show may have ended a couple weeks ago and I want to include it. I might throw in older shows that I'm finally deciding to watch(I'm looking at you Deadwood Season 2!) I'm not going to have a strict schedule for these, I'm just going to put them out whenever, but there will probably be at least a couple weeks in between each list.
